Help choosing a PSU?

I am setting up my first litecoin/bitcoin rig, and I need some help figuring out which psu to buy.
I currently have 1 Red fury USB ASIC miner (BTC), and 1 Radeon 7950 (LTC), as well as an AM3+ mobo and cpu. All I need to figure out now is what I should get for the psu.
I would like to add more USB miners in the future, but they will be on a powered USB hub, so not really important.
I would also like to add one or two more GPUs in the future.
With all that info, will a gold standard psu be good (running 24/7), and how many watts should it be?
Thanks for any advice!

Cryptocoin mining

So i purchased this bitfury ASIC miner http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Bitcoin-2-GH-s-ASIC-miner-like-bitfury-blue-or-red-fury-block-erupter-IN-HAND-/331162174440?pt=AU_Components&hash=item4d1acdc3e8&_uhb=1
but now i stopped to think and it is probably a SHA-256 miner...dogecoin being a scrypt coin i was told that asic miners are a good way to learn about cryptocoin mining. what have i gotten myself into by buying this asic miner? will i be able to mine doge?

Are thumbdrive miners any good?

I have seen posts for thumbdrive miners such as these:
BPMC Red Fury USB 2.2-2.7 GH/s Bitcoin Miner
Dualminer Litecoin Bitcoin USB Asic Miner
and these are used either with standard USB ports on your PC or on a multi port base such as this:
Etekcity® Premium Upgraded 10-Port External USB 2.0 Hub
This seems like a relatively cheap, scalable and low power solution for mining but I am not seeing it mentioned in the posts in this subreddit. I am a newbie and would welcome any information or advice on these units.
Edit - I removed links since purchase links are not allowed.

Which ASIC would you recommend, if any? Moreover, would you recommend them to a novice miner as a learning experience?

Hey /BitcoinBeginners,
I come to you as a novice, eager to learn. I've been quite excited to somehow join the ranks of those who have embraced crypto-currencies. Not only does it hold a lot of promise for the future, but it seems like a very interesting endeavour. I've had a few barriers to entry (can't find a single reasonably priced 6950/6970), so I can't partake in a big way. However, I'd still like to try my hand at it in an educational manner.
This is where my question comes in. I've got a Raspberry Pi lying around and I've found a guide to turn it into a simple and cheap mining rig. The guide requires an ASIC, and I've found these ( 1 & 2 ) two. Would anyone vouch for either? If not, I'm open to suggestions and advice.
Many thanks in advance.
